How to Make Glitter Ornaments With Mop and Glo

How to Make Glitter Ornaments With Mop and GloA few days ago my kids in school asked me How to Make Glitter Ornaments With Mop and Glo? And I really didn't know the answer. But then I searched on YouTube and found this great tutorial. And I was amazed by the simplicity of the process and the beauty of the ornaments.

Supplies Needed

Extra Fine Hobby & Craft Glitter Jars

Clear Glass Christmas Ornament Balls

- Mop and Glo Multi Surface Floor Cleaner
- paper towels
- piece of paper
- paper or plastic cup

Step by Step Instructions

To make these beautiful glittering ornaments you must follow a few steps:

- first, prepare a piece of paper and put it on the table (that would prevent glitter from spreading all around the table while pouring it into the glass ornament)

- take off the hanger loops from top of the glass balls

- pour Mop and Glo into the paper or plastic cup

- gently turn around the ornament to evenly spread the liquid inside to make a nice coating without bubbles

- then pour out Mop and Glo, take the other plastic or paper cup, put the glass ball into the cup (turned upside down so all the liquid could drain) and then, if you want to, you can repeat the process once more so the glitter would stick to glass even better

- after you drained all of the remains from the ball, take the glitter and pour a lot of it into the ornament (you can use a little funnel to make it easier)

- take a piece of paper towel, put it on the top of the glass ball and shake it a lot so the glitter would spread evenly inside and cover all of it

- shake the glitter remainings out of the ornament and let it dry

And that's it! Congratulations! I'm sure it wasn't difficult at all! When kids asked me, I really didn't have a clue how to make glitter ornaments with Mop and Glo, but after watching this video and making them myself I can honestly say I had lots of fun and it was really easy to do it.
Why don't you try it yourself? Feel free to leave me a comment when you do!
